Aloha and Welcome…

The Hawaii Hypnotherapy Association (HHA) was founded in the spring of 1993 for the purpose of creating a forum for information exchange and an educational resource for its members and the general public in Hawaii.

HHA, an autonomous organization, has affiliations with the National Guild of Hypnotists & the American Council of Hypnotherapy Examiners and urges our members to consider memberships in these Associations as well.

HHA fulfills a very real need in Hawaii for excellent Hypnotherapy services with top-notch Certified Hypnotherapy Practitioners, who work with our medical communities providing much needed Guided Imagery for countless medical problems (refer to our Guided Imagery Page); the Red Cross during disaster- related incidents; corporations who need among others "Stress Relief, Smoking Cessation or Job Improvement" seminars; our "Prison Personnel & Inmate" programs.

To this we have now added a program for our Military and their families – “The Stress of Homecomings –How to deal with Stress & PTSD”.

For more information on any of these programs, and how you can obtain these services for yourself or your company, please contact us via our contact page.

HHA keeps a close watch on Legislation concerning hypnosis and hypnotherapy in the State of Hawaii and continues to present testimony and contact Legislators. In short, HHA does everything necessary to guarantee that the profession remains respected and recognized.

These pages provide information about Hypnotherapy, its many uses, and sources for finding certified hypnotherapists in Hawaii.

HHA meets once a month with each meeting consisting of a business portion as well as an EDSEG (educational segment) presentation.  This enables members to earn the necessary Continuing Education Credits (CEUs).  Our HHA General Meeting (Members only) begin at 2 pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month from January thru November at:
